Spectralon® products are thermal bonded nonwoven fabrics available in custom colors.   The coloring of the fabric is achieved by encapsulating the colors in the fibers and, therefore, is less likely to bleach, fade or wash out of the fabric.   Spectralon® fabrics are available in either a cross hatch or diamond bond pattern, in basis weights ranging from 0.25 ounces per square yard (9 grams per square meter) to 4.0 ounces per square yard (136 grams per square meters) in widths up to 120 inches (3 meters).

• Chemical Resistance. Our fabrics resist attack by many solvents, alkalies & dilute acids
• Thermal Resistance. Our fabrics have a melting point of approximately 500°F (260°C) and dimensional stability up to 400°F (204°C).  All of our fabrics can be processed temperatures as high as 425°F (218°C) for limited periods of time.  
• Air Permeability.  Our wide range of fabric weights allows the choice of fabric permeability.  This is of primary importance in the construction and performance of air filters.
• Gamma Radiation Resistance.  Nylon products are resistant to gamma radiation, maintaining significant physical properties after irradiation.
• Printability.  Our fabrics are easily printed using the wide range of techniques, inks, dyes and pigment formulations applicable to nylon fabrics.
